INTRODUCTION:
The Speech and Language therapist will work in the Children?s
Hospice and the Adult & Children?s disability residential respite
service, to provide a Speech and Language Therapy Service, as part of
the Multi-Disciplinary Team.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA - IDEALLY THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE
FOLLOWING:
* Either;
* B.Sc. Clinical Speech and Language Studies from the University of
Dublin, or
* M.Sc. in Speech and Language Therapy (Professional Qualification)
from the University of Limerick, or
* B.Sc. Speech and Language Therapy from the National University of
Ireland, Galway, or
* B.Sc. Speech and Language Therapy from University College Cork, or
* An equivalent qualification approved for registration with CORU
* Experience of working with children and adults with profound
intellectual and physical disabilities and knowledge of HIQA standards
and regulations is desirable
